Not going to lie, I love a matcha latte and the summer is just all about cooling it down into an iced tastebud frenzy. If you are a cold latte purist (like my hubby) go unblended by simply omitting a good blitz at the end.
This drinks series is all about coffee shop “superfood” summer drink favourites that end up being not so super once you account for all the processed sugar pumped into them. This one is made with organic coconut sugar and while sugar is still sugar, it’s summer, so go on and treat yourself!
1tsp organic matcha powder
2 generous teaspoons of organic coconut sugar
1 cup almond milk
10 ice cubes
A dash of vanilla
Whizz all the ingredients together in your blender, pour into a glass and serve immediately.
