The beautiful month of May has brought with it a surge of radiant warmth and it is time to usher in a summer glow, pedicures and step onto patios in our open-toe shoes and fabulous sunglasses. If you are thinking about getting in on the glow early and from the inside out, I’ve got just the thing for you.
I’ve loved the Fountain Molecules for quite some time now. Their natural, potent and innovative liquid beauty nutrients are easy to take and really work. I love adding them to my smoothies and there is a really delicious one below. The Glow Molecule released only a couple of months ago and is quickly becoming my favourite, no surprises there, glow inside out and all!
Let’s just talk about the Glow Molecule and how amazing it is for our skin. It contains master antioxidant Glutathione, a powerful amino acid that occurs naturally in almost every single cell and is needed for detoxification. It balances out melanin levels and neutralizes free radicals. Glutathione helps to promote a radiant and glowing complexion but over time our natural levels decline as a result of everyday stress and environmental aggressors. So skin is left looking dull, tired and lifeless.
Until very recently it wasn’t possible to supplement Glutathione, as it would get destroyed after consumption through the body’s digestive processes. The high-strength reactive Glutathione in Fountain’s Glow Molecule does not get destroyed.
In every 10ml serving of the Glow Molecule, 250mg of Glutathione are fully absorbed by the body. So you really will glow inside out, after a week, skin on the face and body are more radiant, clear and healthy with results becoming more visible over time.
Here is a delicious smoothie recipe full of all my favourite skin foods. I’ve used Brazil nuts to make delicious nut milk. Brazil nuts are a wonderful source of selenium, a trace element found in our bodies that also acts as an antioxidant. Other ingredients like cacao, avocado and blueberries are known for their skin beautifying properties.
¼ cup of Brazil nuts soaked overnight in water, drained and rinsed
2 cups of chilled filtered water
10mls Fountain Glow Molecule
½ cup of blueberries
1 Medjool date
1/2tbsp cacao powder
1tsp coconut oil
1/2tsp pure vanilla extract
A pinch of Himalayan pink salt
Make your nut milk by blitzing the nuts and 1 cup of filtered water in your blender until really smooth. Pour through a muslin bag, squeezing out all the liquid and set the pulp aside (use it for some homemade pesto).
Pour the milk back into the blender and add all the other ingredients, blend until really smooth and pour in as much of the remaining filtered water required to reach desired consistency. Cheers to the summer!
